General Overview of Workshop Goals

Our goal for the second in this series of workshops will be to continue to develop the skills necessary for designing a WebQuest- a web based strategy for structuring student work using the resources available on the world wide web. Therefore, you should come to this third workshop with the research unit, theme, or topic firmly in mind as well as a clear idea about the learning goals and task which your 4th grade students will accomplish. These will provide the basis for the WebQuest that we will continue to develop during this session. Your project will also guide the portion of the session which will focus on website development. During this workshop we will:

  • Review strategies for searching the web
    • Hints for more effective searching
      • link:
