Searching the Internet

Goals/Objectives:  

• Software use:  Internet Explorer, Netscape, Microsoft Word
• Objective:  The students will browse the Internet to find resources for their classroom environment.

Tasks and Process:

Paper work 3:30 p.m.-3:40 p.m.

• Students will sign in attendance sheet

• Distribution of handouts

  Introduction 3:40 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

• Students will share one outstanding website that they found in front of the class

• Students will discuss how they can incorporate these sites of the internet

  Internet 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

• Browse the Internet using various web browsers

• Explore WebQuest and how it can be incorporated into the curriculum

Conclusion:  

Closing 5:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

• Brief discussion

• Distribute workshop evaluation

• Adjourn
