Creating E-Books with 
Power Point 

The eighth session in our workshop series directed toward discovering the power of Technology in the enhancing of student literacy  will be directed toward the creation of "e-books" once again. This time our investigation will be more personalized and we will develop the skills required for using Power Point as we venture into the realm of "e-books". 

Agenda:

1. A brief review of the concept of e-books... student-created books with image, text and audio features.

2. Introduction to PowerPoint

Process:

Participants should come to the workshop prepared to develop an idea into an e-book. We'll use Power Point and self-made images to develop that idea  into a five to ten page story. We'll conclude this workshop unit next time (Jan. 12) by ending our session with a short discussion about how to effectively integrate the e-book concept into classroom practice.
