TMA is a New Visions School which is a collaboration between the Manhattan High School Superintendency, the Abyssinian Development Corporation, and the Fund For New York City Public Education. At TMA, we believe that a strong relationship between the home, school, and community is of paramount importance for children to reach their utmost potential. TMA is a school that provides an environment in which learning is enjoyable and provides a lasting experience, guides students along the road to success, serves it's community through partnerships of parents, students, and staff working together for the betterment of all. Thurgood Marshall Academy is unique in that it provides working experiences every summer for all students who meet the criteria.
