The Mahalia Jackson School is committed to excellence. Our school mission is to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning which includes programs and services that address strengthening the needs of our students. We provide a learning environment which encourages self-esteem and attempts to create independent learners by building on the individual strengths of the child. We provide staff development activities, parent training and use assistance of community based organizations to make this possible.
