Our central mission is to provide a truly bilingual and bicultural middle school curriculum which retains the integrity and value of our students' cultural and linguistic heritage. The academic courses of study, for 7th and 8th grade students was designed by a team of dedicated teachers and parents, to address the special needs of this age group through a variety of instructional approaches. A specially designed schedule facilitates a variety of learning strategies for all our students. Our core classes feature an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to learning with a thematic curriculum. The academic program includes the study of communication arts, literature, history, Spanish, mathematics, science, physical education and the arts. Our daily program includes opportunities for students to participate in an accelerated math program.
