The Studio Museum in Harlem is commited to collecting and presenting nineteenth and twenieth-century African-American art; twentieth century Caribbean and African art; and traditional African Arts and artifacts. We are the primeir museum dedicated to African American Art. The museum organizes a wide variety of program for audiences of all ages to examine African-American art and culture. These include gallery talks, panel discussions, films, artist interviews, performing arts programs, and workshops.
