Playing to Win is committed to providing affordable access to technology . A Boys Harbor program in collaboration with the Institute for Learning Technologies at Columbia University, Playing to Win is a community-based technology center that provides Harlem and East Harlem instruction in, and access to, information technology. Access includes time and space for using computers to meet educational and professional needs and participation in an environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and confidence. Boys Harbor is a not-for-profit, multi-service, educational youth agency with over 60 years of service to the youth of Upper Manhattan and the Bronx. The Institute for Learning Technologies (ILT), founded in 1986 at Teachers College, Columbia University, seeks to empower the creative reform of education through work with technology. |
