MOUSE is a non-profit organizaiton providing volunteer manpower and technical support to the New York City public schools. Founded by a group of concerned and motivated individual's from New York City's thriving technological community, the organization provides a targeted response to the overwhelming need for sound technical support and expertise in the integration of computers within our city's public schools. MOUSE volunteers, both individually and as members of teams organized through their corporations, are increasing the capability of public schools to keep pace with current technology . With the assistance and input of community members, MOUSE volunteers are helping to define, design, and most importantly, implement new and educationally viable technology programs. By setting up and maintaining computer labs and networks, wiring building, and training and facilitating professional development, MOUSE is directly impacting the lives of thousand of New York City school children through a focused and proven community service effort.
